I love that piece of advertising art. its been there for years now. one of the last of its kind in many ways. 8th Ave. between 51 and 50th st. I've always wondered why a new ad has not been place there, one of those fabric pull down type. and SOSA Borella, best bread in the neighborhood. one of the last of the old world quality little restaurant in the area. nice shot. not an easy one to take or spot, considering its location.

so strange to see such a large ad for smoking- don't know if this would be allowed anymore (at least not in Canada)

Man my neck hurts - got a krink in it from staying here far too long looking up!! Great shot Christine --- love the old smoking ad with the pipe by its side, looks like a long cigarette smoking - you see, I do look carefully at most shots! Must go now, am walking at an angle to the chiro to get my neck fixed!! PS: Abuxy is right - LeapKrink
