Bird Lady, you humans totally have this wrong. You think these are just scraps of food, do you?? Let me set the record straight: This exquisite shot you took of this beautiful white egret, is really sitting in the finest table-clothed Taco Bell in TX, having its gourment meal of remnants of shrimp-on-a-shell. I do the same, sitting at the back of this same Taco Bell, beside the dumpster, with a nappie around my throat, waiting for those plump juicy flies to appear!! Yummy!! What a gormmet treat!! I was just caught how the blue color graduated to burst in one small area. I probably want to say that this is a beautiful photo.

Great capture especially the pose/poise of the bird. Did you try tweaking the white balance or have a play with the blue at all? The beautiful white of the plumage may show up a little better
