This is the bus we took at about 4 am, changing from the small bus into the big one. We were the only tourists on the entire bus, it was a unforgettable experience. The bus was quite gross as the locals just spit inside the bus, I will never forget that!

the journey continues as we are not even halfway thru this 27 hours bus ride. As you can see, we went from morning till night fall, and then sun rise again. Just when you thought the 27 hour bus ride wasn't enough, we were dumped at the periphery of Hue, and had no choice but to take a motorcycle into the city centre. (nearly got cheated again as those riders says US$5 per ride but we managed to bargained down to US$2.
The only good thing of the journey came only at the last part, when we checked into one of the most comfortable guesthouse in this SEA trip. It has aircon, TV, balcony, BATHTUB!!! omg..guess sometimes, good things always come at the end.
Next Up - Tour of Hue, the Kampong style living etc...
