The result is wonderful. The feeling that you've "perpetrated" this is also wonderful. Speaking of old friends... I wonder how a sketch of an old friend might differ from your more editorial sketches?

It would differ indeed...I need a lot of training! But what is very instructive about manipulating a photo is that you can totally focus on making the part of what is actually important for you, what you have to put forward. And you always have the "undo" and the "redo" which are a blessing. :)
