occam's razor is the more complicated explanation for a principle long before being described as the dilemma of the Gordian Knot - you either hang in there addressing the uncertainty and complexity, or you act and cut through the damn knot, thus dissolving the problem.

I will spend the day googling this information, rather than doing productive work. Gaining some new knowledge today will make tomorrow's work easier. So spending time googling is justified.
