i'm not 100% sure if i understand you correctly, but i generally agree that we need to ask "for whom?" and "from what" when we demand freedom for anyone. right now, some chain mail action seems to go on and has hit photoblog, causing lots of people to express some kind of solidarity with "the people from iran"; calling for their freedom. it is rather embarrassing that this happens very year again, especially on valentine's day. your picture is very interesting, what is depicted here? it looks to me like poseidon, but i find it rather strange that there is 2 of them fighting each other; i am only aware of one god of the ocean - can you explain what's going on there?

We all live in our own bubbles of what freedom means. What freedom means is dependent upon what we have in the way of freedom - or don't have in the way of freedoms. People who are concerned with freedom - try to do the best that we can to support those who feel oppressed. Human value and respect for people is a core issue for many. For me I support value of humanity. I am a child when it comes to issues of freedom - as I live in a country who even though there is some illusion of freedom - we are reasonably free. But we are not perfect. Much wrong - But I am free. I wish even my degree of imperfect freedom upon others who are less free..
