1. I'm way more comfortable in the company of dogs than I am with people.

4. This is my kinda beach...cold but the only other living thing you are likely to run into is a bear.

7. I lived in this 16x16 basically one room cabin (most people's living rooms are bigger than this!) for almost 7 years while we built our house/strip. Not alone, but with my hubby and dog.
8. Favorite ice cream: Hagaan Daz Coffee flavor 9. I love to listen to old time Alaskans tell their stories 10. I never thought I would hear myself say "I've been married 16 years!" 11. I used to be (up till 2 years ago) terrified of the dark 12. I've recently come to the realization that I have been here on planet Earth longer than I probably will be...makes me think. 13. I still have NO idea what I want to be if I ever grow up. |

Great post.... it's really fun finding out a little more about everyone! That bear shot totally freaks me out... I've had a few too many up close and personal experiences with them and won't go anywhere I'm likely to see one!

Wonderful photos and great 'secrets'.Love #1,3,4 and the bears! I love watching bears.As for growing up..why bother? You are doing good just the way you are!

you live a fantastically fun life!! i love the photos that go along with some of your secrets. i'm a huge outdoors person so this is like a dream life to me! although you might not ever know that since i love living in the city...

Beautiful post...this theme was a neat idea. I LOVE the beach shot...how so very lovely! I dream of living in a small cabin. Three of us live in a 900 sq ft townhouse co-op and I still think it's too much space...though by North American standards this is a small home.

Okay ... I came BACK to this wonderful post again! That Brown Bear shot is fantastic! I completely missed the cub with mama the first go around. You guys couldn't have been more than 20-25 yards away. Outstanding. Please show us more shots this summer when the bears are gorging on salmon!

I just read Mat's comment and had to go back and look at the bear picture. I missed it too! I didn't even see the baby. I'm surprised you could get that close when the cub was there. You are totally living the dream. Good for you! Thanks for sharing things about you too.
