Okay...this is another view for all of you that saw soldotnamandas post of Rock and a Hard place...this little cabin is a crack up!! It was built intentionally this way (obviously Alaska has NO building codes! It is about 3 miles out on the beach from Captain Cook State Park...and the first time I walked around the bluff and saw it from a distance I thought - "no way, can't be!" As I got closer I just started to laugh...only on a beach in Alaska!!

There is an older couple that uses it in the summer - they have a set net sight out there on the beach and they live in it all summer. I met them last summer when I was walking out there - I was dying to ask them about the place but didn't want to offend them in any way! aknor · 2008-01-15: 23:27
