a day in Sitiawan (my hometown)

these are shops I used to come and get my stuff 20 years ago... and they are still there... standing strong...

my lovely house... lot's of my memories when I was young...

my bro is good at arranging flower... on top of that, he's a chef..

A day in a small town, Sitiawan...
Lots of my friend said that there is nothing much to do in a quiet, small little town... I disagree with them...
My brother, cousin sister and I travelled back to Sitiawan in conjunction with my mum’s birthday… we had a great laugh as my mum do not believe us when we told her that we are travelling back… Why? We travelled back around 8pm.
She only believed when we reached Sitiawan…
Morning Activities….
I woke up early in the morning and had a morning walk…, appreciating the environment… free from traffic… nothing much to do and bored, I started capturing everything that happened in my lovely house… my elder brother arranging fresh, colourful and bright flowers, my younger brother reading newspaper, and later wash his car. This may seems like just another day for most of you but to me, they mean everything….
Noon….
My elder brother together with my mum started preparing food for tonight’s dinner… we are going to have steamboat tonight…. And we are inviting more than 30 of my relative over to celebrate my mum’s birthday… great huh…
When they are done, we went outside my house and harvest mangos… oh yeah… there is a mango tree just outside my house… all of us are having fun while gathering the mangoes…
Evening…
My relatives started to fill in the living room, chatting, drinking liquor as well as enjoying the delicious food my mum and elder brother prepared… When everyone is enjoying themselves… we brought out a birthday cake we bought for my mum… chocolate cake… oishi…
Everyone had a great time together… not long after that, we travelled back to Kuala Lumpur…
We might only spend a short duration of time back in sitiawan but we enjoyed every second when we were there…
