"We have to change our patterns of reacting to experience. For our problems do not lie in what we experience, but in the attitude we have towards it" Akong Rimpoche

I am shooting with a Nikon D70s. I bought it used from B/H. I decided to go with this camera rather than the new D80 or D200. My real passion is to shoot with film and eventually move from 35mm to medium and large format photography. I'm not sure why, I just know that its going to happen. I'm using the DSLR as a means of teaching myself. I do not currently have a darkroom and felt the DSLR would give me the flexibility to shoot A LOT of pictures w/out the cost of having them developed else where. I will start shooting with film in march, and will hopefully have a dark room come this summer. All of my photography up to this point has been with a simple point and shoot camera.

I am currently doing next to no processing on these images other than adjusting brightness and adding b/w or sepia tones. The photos pretty much are what they are.

phawkinsphoto Alex, I just left a comment on your post titled in the studio. I just wanted to give you some background on where my comment is coming from. I have been a professional photographer since the early 1980's and I was trained as and Industrial scientific photographer, which basically means I an light anything. I’m not trying to show what I know rather share what I know.
