20 October 2007 was declared National Thank-you Day in the Philippines.
Yes, it's a great time to give thanks. The day prior there was an explosion in a mall in Makati (the rich--in terms of money--side of town), the president is in another bribery scandal (photos of the apparent bribe paid out to officials in plain plastic bags are all over the news), and of course the continued extrajudicial killings of activists (almost 900 now, with another dying on this very day).
So a big Thank You to everyone.

Thank -you Day for what? whose idea is this anyway??? i'm going to visit MOA (mall of asia) when I get there. your pictures make me want to be there now!!! i can't wait!
