Today we went to Ottawa for the Winterlude. The main attraction at the winterlude is skating up the rideau canal which is a 14km round trip up the frozen canal. Photo 7 -12 is us skating up the Canal. The winterlude is also the home of the world championships of Ice carving, we got to be inuits (13) see some pretty cool sculptures (14), see how the professionals do tire sur le neige (15) and vick and adam tried to get stuck to ice (16)
Oh and photo 6 is how a lot of ice carving is done - with chain saws...
