Sleepy Dogs

This is Picture of the Week.
So funny to see the dogs all fall asleep!
Seems the dogs love to take a nap on the stairs, may be it's the coolest, most comfortable and most quiet place in the kennel.

My Sleeping Beauty, Trixie.

Boogie takes a nap, too.
But may be his body is too long for the stairs...

So he has to push his nose out of the wire...haha

Redding takes a nap, too.

Trixie hiding among the hose and the buckets to enjoy her treat.

Today take Trixie out with Daffodil again.
As it gets hot in the afternoon, they just want to
hide away from the sun and stay behind the bench.
Guess Daffodil wants to keep herself white
and doesn't want to get tanned. haha

Got an accessory for my Trixie.
It's an orange name badge.
Looks really good on her!

Actually Boogie is a very funny looking dog when he doesn't bite...

Wow, Trudy looks like a human with this pose and look!
She occupies the best seat in the volunteer room
with the fan just behind her.

Benny is like saying, "welcome to my place,
please come in and have some tea..."

This is a newly arrived Peking boy, Blanket.
At first I think he is just being funny with this pose,
then I realize he is trapped in the ditch and can't go up!
So here comes my rescue!

Thank God, our kennel didn't collapse under the Black Rain.
And there was no flooding or landslide.
And all the dogs survive!
And look dry!
But guess after long hours of heavy rain, they didn't have a good night's sleep, so they all take a nap in the afternoon.
