Nice! I love the first one. It kinda reminds me of those iPod commercials with the bright color backgrounds and blacked-out figures dancing with their iPods. I specifically like that yellow background, it looks like he's next to a giant felt covered ball of some sort. As for the second shot, I think it might have been more successful with JUST the bridge or just the church. This might be because I'm such a fan of high contrasting images but I think the subject matter along with the color scheme is a bit distracting.

it is interesting to see different kinds of light in the same image...as it is in the second one. the light on the bridge, on the pole, on the building and inside of the building. all look like light but are all very different.

Congrats on the front page. # 1 is awesome. I like the bold, contrasty colors. I think the grain (noise) adds to the mystery. But # 2 is confusing/distracting, too many things going on. I agree either the bridge or the church.
