Flash Flood

It rained from 5pm till late evening causing flash flood around Gadong and Bandar area, some land slide was reported at Kiarong where a store house wall collapse and concerned surrounding occupants called the fire department to be on the alert.

In Bandar the flood causes a momentary panic as the river water overflow and flooding the main roads. A story in the paper today showed a picture of a guy sitting on top of his sinking car calling for help on his mobile phone.

I was out last night just to get my girl’s brother from work, good thing the flood water subside by the time I was driving.
