Tasek Lama Recreational Park

Taman Peranginan Tasek (Tasek Lama Recreation Park) is situated in the capital area, Its an old park which had be re build for the public use and is visited by many, its busiest during the weekdays and early morning. It’s a nice place to relax too. Watching the waterfall at the end of the track and if you’re into hiking you can try the jungle track and make your way across few hills and waiting a beautiful scenery of the capital and water village.

The waterfall is actually part of the lake that’s been use as a water reservoir, God is almighty, how can a lake be on top of a hill and where does all the water came from? It’s a beautiful sight and lovely place to get fit at the same time. The jogger’s path is padded with rubber, so basically you can run with bare foot up and down the track.

Be sure to bring lots of water if you’re going for a jog or just a walk to the hill top, you will sweat, I guarantee. The place is surrounded with lush trees and forest scenery, so look out for monkeys.
