Great set! The first one has such great color, it's my favorite. I also really like the doll pic. Let's go back...there were many photo opportunities, huh?

Oh, man...I LOVE used book stores...like you said - the smell is heavenly! That first shot is wonderful...what a cool idea to shoot books! I have asked my husband to sprinkle some of my ashes in a bookstore (hopefully in a plant or something so I don't get sucked to the bottom of a vacuum cleaner right away!) You've inspired me - next time I'm in Anchorage I'll take a couple of shots at my favorite bookstore - Title Wave - cool name, huh?

These are great photos! I love #1 too. Great color and contrast. I've had trouble indoors with flourescent lighting (and I detest flash mode!) What I have found that helps is switching your white balance. I've played with different settings and found that I like "Cloudy" when I'm in yucky indoor lighting. Again, I'm no pro or even close to experienced...just thought I'd pass along what helps me sometimes. I'm taking a class on indoor lighting in a few weeks...I'll check back with you if I learn any life altering tips!
