Today I tuck another golden remembrance in my special memories folder. After church, we all met at Nana's house for a savory lunch she lovingly prepared. Nana pulled out all the stops for this get together including china, tablecloths, real silverware, and spring decor. She even put Boo Kitty (the world's most spoiled cat) in the back room! Now to say that the whole afternoon was perfect, would be a farce, for there was spilled tea, crude conversations, and your typical family pesterings. Nevertheless, these times are what strengthen our familial bond and confirm the fact that, for better or worse, we are bona fide relatives....for life.

Well, it's back to work for me tomorrow. I need to spend the rest of the evening getting mentally prepared, and maybe grade some of the stacks of papers I brought home.

Pretty stained glass. Pork looks very yummy and the table setting looks gorgeous. I love to use real china, cloth napkins, etc on holidays too...it's the only time the kids know that you can eat on something other than a paper plate!
