More Spring Surprises: Day 87

2008.04.14
The wheelbarrow was made by my father-in-law.

It's always a delight to stop by Nana's house to see what is blooming. Today the irises are in bloom as well as the little dogwood trees that were recently planted.

I just can't seem to get enough of all the beautiful spring colors!

Til tomorrow,
Julie

KerBear Really love that second one... *sighs* I'm so jealous of all the beautiful spring flowers and weather you're getting in the south! As much as things are improving my way... they are no where near as nice as what you've been getting ;)

jenjung very pretty - and the water drops look so nice on the petals - i haven't seen dogwoods in a while, people don't grow them around here, probably cause they wouldn't do too well out here i guess

Peche So so soooo pretty!!! :) I love all of them, but I adore the second one - great macro work, it just feels so fresh and so vital.

ronin53 delightful post !!! :)

oldbabe I can't get enough either. In spring, with these colors, it's almost like you can feel, hear, taste and smell color when you see so much of it. (No, I'm not on drugs)!

Love #2. (I recently read in a photography book that flowers always look better with a little water on them and to spray them with a spray bottle if there is no real water around).

Anjie I love spring, everything blooms!
I can't wait for ours already although we'll have to wait our turn ;-)

PaperWings Those iris's are gorgeous! I wish I had some in my yard! That second shot is perfect! I also love the angle of 5. All of these are superb, though.
** Thanks for all the encouragement!!

mrutherford22 #2 and 5 are beautiful. I love the sky in #5. I agree with Kerry...you are just way further ahead down there. My first day lilly came out today. All by herself. She's the only one on the block. Thanks for giving me the color I need!
