At the Magnolia House where the wedding reception will take place.


Today I attended bridal shower today in Katie's hometown of Spring City, Tennessee. The drive is about an hour and a half from where I live, but the beautiful scenery makes it enjoyable.

After the shower, we visited the sanctuary where the wedding will take place and shared funny stories of wedding mishaps, which I'm sure made Katie feel great;) We had some good laughs, and I was overwhelmed by feelings of joy for Katie and Adam and their new beginning.

On our way home, my mother-in-law, Amber, and I stopped by The Magnolia House where the wedding reception will take place, and I took just a few pictures. Even though it was cloudy and drizzling rain, the historic house and its grounds are just gorgeous.

We are down for the count, and the wedding plans are falling into place very nicely.

Peche These are lovely photos - the second particularly: the softness, and the subject, and the black and white, are so inviting, and warm (which might sound odd but i just feel it).
