Drummin' Around: Day 164

I had spent the whole day cleaning out closets and drawers to prepare for the new carpet we are getting in a few weeks. I was wondering what I you use for my pictures today, until I walked outside and saw beautiful, new drums in my yard.
See, Adam brought the band's van home today, so he could use his dad's machine to clean it out. Part of the drum set was in the van, so he set it in the yard while he cleaned. I don't know a lot about drums, but I do know that this set is (for lack of a better word) pretty.

I really like that first one - it looks 3D (well at least to me it does). I guess that means I like the DOF? Funny quote: My sister-in-law and I always tried to get the noisiest toy for each others kids each Christmas - I remember some drumming monkey thing that quickly lost it's noisemaker (plus a lot of other things that went missing).

I really like this set. It's nice to see two items you normally wouldnt see together, together...grass/drums/flower....it gives an unexpected look at them. Very cool!
