The Quietus of June: Day 166

Got to love the fresh fruits that summer offers.

Still taking pictures of the flowers in my garden. It seems to transform daily.

Endured another jeep incident. This is at the end of my road, but it's a steep hill, and the crossing road is rather busy. Everyone was okay, just a little hot.

What would June be without a wedding? I was privileged to attend two.

Although I am not a fan of warm weather, June is one of my favorite times of year. It is a time I can truly release my mind from the responsibilities of my career, and live in the guise of a homemaker. When my kids were younger, I filled our days with swimming, playing, and outings. Although they still need my love and guidance as a parent, they no longer need me for their source of entertainment; unless it involves funding or taxiing.

So now my Junes are a little more self-indulgent, filled with plenty of sleeping, reading, and a little shopping. Hopefully, this will have me rejuvenated in time for school to start back. Because once the new school year begins, there will be no rest for the weary.

OMG!! Jelly Belly icypoles??!?!??!?!?!?!!?!?!?! Do they taste like Jelly Belly's? I dont think we have them here. Well at least Ive never seen them before..*sigh*
This set screams summer.....and of course family and love.....Your truly blessed :)

Great set and nice recap of the month - definitely looks like an enjoyable one... AND i had no idea they had jellybelly freezies... I may have to look into this and if they only sell them in the US... Brett will be stocking up for my next return to Boston ;) hehehe

Great set - nice summary of your month. The portrait of Amber is beautiful, I love the freeze pop shot - makes me want one, fun hat shots :) and the pic of Adam and Katie is lovely too, I bet they love it.

i had to favorite that first shot. it's so good i can't even stand it. you tracy and chashman crack me up in that pool shot lol looks like June was a fantastic month for you.
