After searching relentlessly and thinking over the pros and cons of a variety of kitchen tables, my Mom finally bought herself one. She even went so far as to have a glass top made to protect it. You have to understand, she is not one for spontaneous or impulsive purchases. Unfortunately, I did not inherit this trait from her.
When taking photos of her new pride and joy, I came across a piece of china that belonged to my late grandmother - "mimi."
I loved it's delicate look and included in today's photographs.
