I arrived yesterday at 23:00 at the guest house, exausted and hungry. I was not sure to find a place to eat so I put my stuff in the room and went out to find some food. I jump in a little (6 sitting places) restaurant of a smilly women. I ordered something on the menu and all this came.....hummmm "sorry, how do I do ?" sounds stupid but I didn't know what to do with the salad and the cucumber served seperately without any dressing.
She nicely explained me to take a piece of salad (upper plate) in my hand, full it with the spiced radish (up left), the sauced oignons (up middle), the cucumber (up right) and the meet I ordered (front plate), wrap it and eat it with my hand...o_O soo cool to eat again with my hands and it looks like making mexican fajitas ^_^ delicious |
My korean friend didn't answer to my mails so I have been alone traveling in Seoul. This is the main shopping district Myeongdong (about 10 minute walk from the guesthouse)

On my way I pass in front of a beautifull buddhist temps with these amazing colorfull wood scuplted walls on the outside. And also all the buddha story painted all around the temple. Fascinating. I could enter freely in the temple, take a cushion and meditate for about 30 minutes.

I finally visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace, really nice area of old houses I boldly recommend, really cheap and beautifull.

I shared my room with to Japanese girls (Noriko who took the picture and Ayaka on the left) when they knew I was alone this evening they insist that I join them for dinner and clubbing along with other of their japanese friend living in Seoul. We had a Korean barbecue (I discovered that it was what I eat yesterday but this time with far more dishes, the table was full), you can see me with a baby bib (google translation, don't konw if it's right) there tiny little useless tissue where not enough ^_^
Thanks Ayaka and Noriko for that great evening and helping me improve my japanes ^_^ |
