finals for autumn
2010.11.03
I need to choose between 6 and 10 of these prints for my finals... any help deciding from another persons point of view would be appriciated :)... i dont mind crits, as im still learning, cheers

3, I like this because I like mushrooms and I think it's a good shot, except for the slight overexposure on the top 2 mushrooms 5, nice contrast of details and dof 9,10, I like the composition of 10 much more than 9, but the sky is too bright, I like 9 because of the overall tones, but not the comp. 11, probably the one I like the most of all. Very cool subject and composition.

1,2,8, 11. :) 9 is nice, but very traditional. the mushrooms are nice but they don't say autumn to me.

Hi Andy, good luck with your course. Of these shots, I'd personally choose #8 because I really like the idea behind it and the way the white of the hive makes the orange of the flower stand out. I'd go for #2 because it looks a little bit different. I'd probably choose one of the boat shots - probably number 10 because I think the boat looks better when it isn't quite so central to the frame. I like the composition of number 3 but I probably wouldn't choose it because there's a patch in the middle that looks burnt out. Hope this helps.

hi guys thanks for the adce... i currently have 4 printed.. numbers11, 10 3 and 2, and i will also use 1, 4 and 8 i think... my tutor looked at them and liked all of the above so ive decided to go with these :)... thanks all
