"Grandmas Backyard"

2007.09.29
At the front of the house is a garden of lush colourful flowers

This is one of many fence lines on the property

This watering can has been around for decades I was told by mum!

When the property was bought there was an old run down house, which had to be pulled down before my Grandma / Uncle was able to build the house below - however the laundry of the old house is still left standing

Grandmas / Uncles House sitting on top of the hill! Perfect style house for its surroundings!

My mum got my Grandma the wheelbarrow and planted a few colorful plants in there for Christmas one year

A lot of people use sheds to keep there tools - nope this is the my Uncles version of a "tool shed!"

Fence post and lock

Dandelions have spread across many acres of this property making it look like a yellow blanket

My favourite tree on the whole property - so full of character

Pine cones, which came from the tree in the above photo

A landscape photo of one of the dams (actually this one is more popular than the other two)

This is one of three dams on the property - I love the reflection in the water in this photo.

Hollow log

When I took this photo I had no idea that this little guy was sitting on the log until I uploaded the photos on my computer - what a nice surprise!

The bark clearly stripping away from the tree

A single blundstone boot left here in among thick pine needles and pine cones. Maybe an old pair of my Uncles at one stage.

This is where a "working" fence once stood - here is all that remains.

This pretty little finch managed to hang around long enough to get a photo.

This morning I got up bright and early (well 8am early for a weekend anyway!) and headed up to my Grandmas Place in Panton Hill Melbourne about 15 minutes from my house! It is what a lot of people clasify as living in the "sticks"!

My Grandma who also lives with my Uncle on 20 acres most of which is bushland....however it has a lot of hidden characteristics, which I have hoped to have captured above!

Please enjoy!
