Today was the 2008 HERALD SUN/CITYLINK RUN FOR THE KIDS!
The 2008 event was capped once again at 30,000 participants, of which one of them was my partner Brendan who competed in the 5km run and the other was my girlfriend Lynley who competed in the 14km run.
It turned out to be great weather and a great day as heaps of people turned up for the big event, runners, volunteers and supporters (Me!!) - there was definately a huge buzz in the air this morning as we all try and raise funds for the Royal Childrens Good Friday Appeal.
Some big names at the event and I just happened by chance to photograph were Olympic Champion Runner Cathy Freeman (Photo 10) and Michael Klim Olympic Swimmer (Photo 17)
Good on Brendan and Lynley for getting involved and participating - and wonderful support from you would have been great help to them!

I love the 'in-the-action' feel of #15 (good dof as well), and the whacked look of everyone in #14.

I wonder if anyone on here was getting involved with the Fun Run - your partner seems quite the active type! (in return, making me feel lazy!). Loving the sunrise over Melbourne, that's a truly beautiful photo :)
