My friends,
They’re lifeless stubs,
Jutting from the ground
I can’t recall how they looked
How they sounded
As the breeze
Touched their long arms
Making them rustle and creak
I stand alone
In an area of vast emptiness
My friends, murdered before me
Chopped, slugged, and pulled down
And I am Regretfully
The only one left standing
