I agree: I sometimes feel kind of sorry for too-obviously-cute things, especially when there is a whole heap of them inside a plastic box and you are supposed to pick one, and only one, of them. Then you think, "Who the Hell is gonna drop a coin? "...And a mom comes with her kid... I love this one.

my brothers and I actually emptied one of those machines out... we used some kid's drunk mom's money.

yes - we road tripped SO much through childhood - my sis and I loved these things and challenged each other at every truck stop, it had nothing to do with what the prize was but just with grabbing that thing and having it hang on and manuevering it and all. thanx for the reminiscing.
