Where are the missing chapters where the artist meets GOD, leaves drugs, gets hired by "The Reader's Digest" that commissions him a monthly comic strip on calamitous life-style, love and squalor, he becomes exceedingly rich because of his drawings, meets a girl called Esmé that sings in a gospel choir, marries her, begets her a twenty children offspring, buys himself a rifle and a country state and commits suicide at 90 leaving behind him an eplorate wife and twenty religious millionaires that get involved into an Icelandic-saga-like trial because of their junkie-of-a-dad's inheritance? Could have been worse.
