the land of shopportunity

2008.07.30

The title is the slogan for Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, they also use the slogan 'dare to be different'.

I don't know if I should be impressed or outraged that people make their living by expressing such feeble ideas with such unimpressive language.

Sometimes life is incredibly depressing. Hey ho.

Abigail They should rename it "Meadowhell" as we all call it. Those ladies look like they smell of stale fat.

ainhoator I don't know whether flat slogans are such a curse...you'd simply collapse in pain if you came to Limoges (which was once upon a time ransacked by the Black Prince) and found youself reading on the walls of the ladies department at MONOPRIX : "souvent, femme varie (François Ier)" conveying the notion that women are bond to be changing their clothes ( or their fellings ) more often than not, according to Frankie.

:D
Shopping malls are apalling.

stormfish i love shopping malls. i mean, i hate them, like anybody else, but since i can't beat them, i decided to love them instead. and they ARE great grounds for shopportunities... which you prove so very well here. picking these two completely depressing sceneries from the food court, condensing it into colored art and making me smile... now if that's not something splendid coming out of the misery!

i love these pics! :-)
