What he talks about when he talks about running

2008.09.10

The other day I read about how writer, Haruki Murakami, got into running. Unfortunately the article has now been removed from the internet but it was an excerpt from his book "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running".
It was surprisingly interesting. He described how he felt during and after running an ultramarathon, which is 62miles (100km).

pollak haruki murakami has this power, to talk about all the insignificant things, ordinary and give back another point of view. i like this drawing, it's something else. i could put it on my t-shirt:)

ainhoator I'm going to read "The wild sheep race" but seemingly I'll have to read "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running" before.

I love Murakami!
