Anjan! As Frank Zappa often wondered: "what is your conceptual continuity?" "it should be easy to see..." but it never is since conceptual art came to life... or, no wait, these are your words of choice: artlife lifeart could this be a parody to the lack of means or props by this photographer or was he too shy to get a real woman instead of a doll or a magazine? And who imitates better or, in other words, whaT IS CLOSER TO THE REAL THING: the 3dimmensional doll or the 2 dimmensional photo but depicting a real body and not a mock simulation? is the doll making a dada statement like Duchamp's pissoir à la readymade? And the magazine: has it been doing its job for photography? or has it become creatively cristalized for decades? And on the other hand photography has never been so present in art exhibitions as nowadays!! So photography is imitating art... art is imitating photography... and life... IS PASSING US BY!
