album art for "i am doing this to hurt you" by david ding
2009.03.01
Last month, a good friend of mine, Mr. David Ding, participated in an event called the RPM Challenge. Basically he made an entire music album in the month of February, which is a pretty impressive feat if you've ever tried it. He enlisted me to make the artwork for the album, and these pictures represent the fruits of that labor. The concept was to have one image for each track that sort would go along with the feel of the song (plus album cover, track list, and credits page). It was definitely my first foray into the area of creative design, but I'm pretty darn happy with the results. The album, which I highly suggest you check out, is available for FREE download from David's website here. Enjoy!

the shape of things not to come. Taken at the Vassar farm back during college. A crazy natural phenomenon where there was a field of ice basically floating over the ground held up by the grass.
