Annah, yes I liked the post then and like it equally well today!! This is a great tribute to a co-worker and to a friend!! I see that an ex-co-worker and my best buddy has commented before me - this is what it's all about Annah - a long term friendship of sharing the hurts, but mostly sharing the fun and the camaraderie as the years go by - the friendship even gets stronger!! Great post Annah - and thanks!!

oh great. now that song is stuck in my mind! these are fantastic! I really like the second one - a softer, muted background to showcase someone whose personality more than fills the screen

These are awesome portraits. He has a very joyous smile. You can't help but smile too when you see the first few shots.

these are charismatic shots. I like the city background too. I like the black and white of #5, but I prefer the less tightly cropped #4 for composition. I can see a bit of angel in #2. #1 is bold and appealing. You may not want this opinion, but If it were my shot, I'd rotate the first image about 1.5 degrees CCW and re-crop, so the buildings are a strong vertical, or rotate farther the other way, so they are clearly intentionally skewed. beautiful portraits.
