When I first walked into Piazza del Duomo and saw this facade, I exclaimed "wow". Never thought this masterpiece was so big, so beautiful and so astonishing.

When you looked at this tower from below, it seemed as iff it was falling on you.

Japanese reproduction of the beautiful doors (the original is so dirty because of the cars which used to be allowed in Piazza del Duomo, that they're still cleaning it.

I remember my first view of Il Duomo. I had to lean against a wall - otherwise I would have fallen over in astonishment and awe. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
