San Gimignano's charm

When we entered San Gimignano, it turned out we couldn't go to see the inside of the church, because there a funeral was taking place there. These men sat in the shadows of the building in front of the church watching the ceremony from a distance.

Once again something about San Gimignano.
It is well, one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. When we entered the Old Part, it instantly reminded me of Monemvasia in Greece, where I have been as a child during many of our travels around the country. The story with Monemvasia was funny because we discovered it by accident, but this is another story.
Coming back to San Gimignano. I took not many photos and most of the ones I took turned out bad. So I'm giving you two, which will show none of the famous towers our small streets made of stone. These show other things, and allow me to remember something more than I will be able to see on the internet.

We're sitting on the steps leading to a medieval well. The sun's shining, the ice-cream which I am eating and which is larger than my hand tastes perfectly, pictures become more and more interesting. Will I ever be able to go back home?
