Description
The
Anschutz Model 1827 Fortner is a biathlon rifle chambered in .22 LR. The best competitive shooters in national, international and Olympic shooting events commonly use
Anschutz rifles.
The Fortner is designed to be ergonomically and aerodynamically friendly. Standard features include non-slip magazine bottoms for easy loading, an additional magazine release, an adjustable fore-end and butt stock, and a two-stage match trigger, which gives extra tension in the pull. The 1827 has a variety of additional features such as aluminum rail on the stock, match barrel or heavy barrel, and Walnut stock.
The 1827 Fortner can be modified for most .22 caliber competitive shooting events, but Anschutz designed it specifically for biathletes.
