We played with the 3D scar make up. It's great for scar tissue...but not good enough to make a smooth finish. left cheek was a prepared scar stuck on using spirit gum...you can notice that the stitches are non-existent. The right cheek had bits added on to it one by one and shaped on the cheek itself...basically...sucks...
The left cheek has too much and the right is peeling off! A big no-no for Halloween. But due to the time constraints, we pressed on with the rest of it...

The first trial helped us learn many things - 3D scar material sucks, the 'smile' needs to be shorter, the scar wax is a better option, the eye area needs to be darker...and the hair needs to open up a bit...what a nice trial!
I am waiting for some more photos of the details from the final makeup session on Halloween. Promise you...it's gonna be fun!
