Sunset On The Corner Of Winchester And Kirby

My protracted hunt for a winter coat at this time of the year in Memphis took me to the corner of Winchester Road and Kirby Parkway at sundown...
|
Something strange came to view...

Right in front of a cell phone tower, there is a lifesize replica of the Statue of Liberty...
|
I had to park the car, and take some photos!
|
The sky was turning spectacularly pink for my photo...
|
Looking back from my car, I noticed the reflections...
|
And the sun was really giving a show last night... no luck with the coat, though...

"AMERICA RETURN TO CHRIST"? oh my good, you REALLY gotta get out of that bible belt... :-/ if the maker of the statue of liberty would be still alive, i bet he'd be suing memphis authorities for this blasphemy of art blight; in fact, i believe, the local bigots of winchester and kirby crossing should be expatriated.
