Remember the line judge who dared to call a foot fault against Serena Williams a couple of years ago? Serena threatened to shove the tennis ball down her throat...among other things. She is still watching those lines and has escaped Serena's wrath, so far...

Great shots Agnes. I just love that you captured the hand of the woman. It is so typical of a photo nut. Everything a potential shot! Her hand looks rather unenergized! Was the rest of her more alive with the excitement of the tournament! Nice manicure from what little I know about manicures! I am not a tennis follower so I will assume that there are some famous players and fans in your collection.

great set love the 8th where the spectators are looking in one direction and the cameras pointing in the opposite direction. Did you watch the game or were you too busy taking photos? :)

I've not been to a pro tennis match but there is one here in Palm Springs and some of our friends are insisting that it's a great time. Seeing your photos makes me think maybe so!

I feel as if I were there - you captured it all, Agnes! Lovely candid shots and great commentary on the event. I thought #8 was interesting, since the crowd was looking to their right in the shot, but all the cameras were focused to their left!
