Four Looks At An Heirloom Figurine

My parents were not collectors of knick-knacks but two tiny porcelain ballerinas somehow made it to our house. I grew up admiring their tiny faces and elaborate lace dresses from a distance, instinctively knowing they were way too delicate for me to play with. They embodied grace and elegance for me, and I am glad they are still around. This is one of them, and taking these pictures from different angles I later realized, she looks like she is really dancing!
