New Lease On Life

This house near my place was spared the wrecking ball, unlike the green one a block away, the demolition of which I have lately reported on. This had been hidden behind a veil of tarp for several months, and today was the first day the tarp came down.

I just love pink houses, and this is a really nice soft shade of pink...
|
I was also happy to see all the fine details on the ornamentaion expertly restored.
|
Houses like these give character to a city, and they should all be preserved, if possible, I feel.
