When the Christmas tree-shaped ornament fell off my front door this morning, I realised that the holiday season truly had ended. As it was on December 27th that my fiancee proposed, I had been holding onto this time for as long as possible.
Signalling the change, the written notes underneath the ornament are invitation lists to our engagement party in February.
