No Rain Dance Necessary

Photos #1-3: On Friday, I woke up to the sound of rain. In Melbourne, this is a rarity, as we are in the middle of a drought (with everyone doing their bit to save water). Sure, the rain meant that the Kindergarten children I teach (4-5 year-olds) couldn't play outside until later in the morning, but the darkened skies and moist ground were most gratefully received.

Photos #4-6: Matt and I went out with friends to Lygon Street in the evening, for a meal and a movie. The ice-cream in #6 might not seem like anything much, but considering it is the size of my fist (and heavy!), it was impressive!
