I am part of the Melbourne anime community and enjoy cosplay, which is dressing up as characters from Japanese culture. I attend an annual convention and, while I have worked on costumes for many years, have begun winning awards for my designs in the past two years.
On Saturday a respected photographer within the anime community has offered me a photoshoot for some of my older costumes (dating back to 2001!) and I'm really looking forward to it. :)
However, this means repairs on most costumes so I have been busy this week in preparation. Only glueing a sword and sticking feathers on a pair of wings to go!
