Paint Splatters

2007.09.10

My Additional Assistant at work is away on an international holiday (lucky woman, though I shouldn't really be envious, it's nearly my turn!), so we've had people from an agency coming in to replace her. I have a little boy with Autism in my Kinder room and he can be quite the handful sometimes (as he is so stubborn in personality!).

He was trying to make an escape for the playground, purple paintbrush in hand, when I scooped him up, obtaining this 'battle wound' in the process. Oh yes, it provided a good talking point in the afternoon, when teachers from some neighbouring primary schools came to visit to talk about Kinder-to-school transition programs!

DancingDolphin :-) this would be why the teacher I know don't bother wearing their "good clothes" to school?

taifallos haha, good story, too bad about the shirt though, hopefully it will come out because I like what you're wearing! lol the pic has some fab colour and great angle! Maybe next time he'll wield a weapon of fresh made chocolate? =) ***
