Spring Cleaning

First, a lunch of avocado, ham and cheese on an english muffin - YUM! :)

... then it was time to clean the windowsills

(yuck, mould build-up!)

(spary on some product, leave it to sit for 5 minutes)

(...then wipe it off - all clean!)

My partner and I rent the unit we live in, and will be having our next inspection on Tuesday morning. In preparation, true 'Spring cleaning' began, including scrubbing walls, mopping floors and scrubbing mould from the bedroom windowsills (due to dampness, it builds up over Winter).

Sadly, the unit can only get so clean - it's badly in need of a repaint and new curtaining, but the owners don't want to update it until the next tenants! (we were promised a repaint when we moved in 3 years ago... only after signing the lease, which figures)

jetjackson Landlords seem to be the same, everywhere,,,,,promise you everything,,,until they get your money :(

jwideman it's sad that some landlords can be so bad! i love your bedspread--it's very pretty!
