The packing is all done for Japan - I ended up taking everything out and starting again, which proved best as I left a lot behind. Here's hoping I still have room for everything I want to bring home!
Our real estate agent had compained about trees overshadowing our house and wanted them chopped back or removed. Seeing as though the trees themselves were on the neighbour's side, she spoke to them and yesterday the trees were lopped into. While the everything looks neat and tidy now, I still mourn a little the loss of the tree canopy which we had before (in front of the computer desk). Hopefully it doesn't mean more het gets let in during the Summer!
