After a hot Summery day in Melbourne, Marisa and I meet in the City after she finishes work for the day. With her feet swollen and sweltering in new shoes, Marisa makes the trip to Target to buy a cheap pair of thongs (yes, that is the correct term here in Australia... ignore what the word means overseas :P).
Much cooler and more comfortable, we head out for dinner before seeing a movie (in a lovely air-conditioned cinema!).
Yes, "Thongs" are what we wear on our feet, out here. Sort of makes you wonder where the other clothing item got its name, someone has "pirated" an Aussie name :))))
Meet the parents instantly comes to mind with this post :) Lovely sparkly feet btw girls. You have very elegant toes...well, as elegant as toes can be I guess :P
